Pentecost Prayer Hour 10: Scripture 10 - 1 Corinthians 6:19-20

Scripture: 1 Corinthians 6:19-20

"Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies."

Prayer:

Heavenly Father,

As we come together in prayer during this hour, we are reminded of the sacredness of our bodies as temples of Your Holy Spirit. We thank You for the indwelling presence of Your Spirit within us, a constant reminder of Your love and grace. Grant us the wisdom and strength to honor You with our bodies in all that we do.

Encouraging Words:

In this hour, let us reflect on the privilege and responsibility of being temples of the Holy Spirit. Let us honor God with our bodies by living lives of holiness, purity, and obedience to His Word. May we treat ourselves and others with dignity and respect, recognizing the value You have placed on us.

Testimony:

Reflecting on moments of experiencing the presence of Your Spirit within me, I've been convicted of the need to care for my body as a temple of Your Spirit. Your Spirit empowers me to make choices that honor You and bring glory to Your name.
