Scripture: Acts 2:38-39

"Peter replied, 'Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit. The promise is for you and your children and for all who are far off—for all whom the Lord our God will call.'"

Prayer:

Heavenly Father,

As we gather in prayer during this hour, we are reminded of the call to repentance and the promise of Your Holy Spirit. We thank You for the gift of forgiveness through Jesus Christ and the indwelling presence of Your Spirit in our lives. Grant us the grace to repent and turn to You, receiving Your forgiveness and the empowering presence of Your Spirit.
