Heavenly Father,
We come before You as a nation in need of Your healing and guidance. Your Word declares, “Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord, the people He has chosen as His own inheritance” (Psalm 33:12). Today, we reaffirm that in You we trust, and we seek Your hand upon us as we face the challenges of this season.
If Former President Trump Wins: Lord, we pray that You would guide him with wisdom, humility, and compassion. Let his leadership reflect Your righteousness, for “Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to any people” (Proverbs 14:34). May he govern in a way that brings peace, justice, and healing, and may his decisions be guided by truth and integrity. Help us, Lord, to support our leaders in prayer, standing on the truth that You “turn the hearts of kings like rivers of water” (Proverbs 21:1), directing them according to Your will.
If Vice President Kamala Harris Wins: We ask, Lord, that You fill her with discernment, strength, and compassion. May her leadership reflect Your call to “act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly” with You (Micah 6:8). Surround her with wise counsel and may her heart be sensitive to Your guidance. We trust that as we, Your people, lift her in prayer, You will work through her to bring healing and justice to this land. Remind us, Lord, to honor and support our leaders with faithfulness in prayer, trusting in Your sovereign plan for America.
For Both Outcomes: Father, regardless of the outcome, we acknowledge that “all authority comes from God, and those in positions of authority have been placed there by You” (Romans 13:1). Teach us to respect and pray for our leaders, as You command, so that we may “live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness” (1 Timothy 2:2). Unite us, Lord, as one people under You, that we may stand together as peacemakers and bring healing to our communities. Remind us that “in Christ, there is no division” (Galatians 3:28) but a call to unity and love.
Hope and Healing in This End-Time Battle: Strengthen us as a people to stand firm in faith. You remind us that “our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the powers of this dark world” (Ephesians 6:12). Equip us daily with the “armor of God” (Ephesians 6:13) so that we may walk boldly in hope and resist fear. Give us wisdom, for Your Word says, “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously” (James 1:5). May we live with hearts anchored in hope, trusting that You are with us.
Lord, You promise, “If My people, who are called by My name, will humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and heal their land” (2 Chronicles 7:14). Today, we repent on behalf of our nation. We ask for Your forgiveness, mercy, and healing. Restore and renew our land, Lord, and bring revival that transforms hearts across this nation.
Standing on Faith and Resilience: Father, You are our refuge and strength, an everpresent help in times of trouble (Psalm 46:1). May we stand firm, knowing that “we are hardpressed on every side, but not crushed” (2 Corinthians 4:8). Keep us rooted in hope, for we know that our strength is in You alone. You remind us that “the plans You have for us are plans to prosper us and not to harm us, plans to give us hope and a future” (Jeremiah 29:11).
In all things, we declare that in You we trust. Our hope, our faith, and our healing are found in You alone. Guide America’s future, that we may be a nation devoted to righteousness, compassion, and peace.
We pray this in the powerful name of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.
Amen.
